With 2010 upon us, I thought I’d share with you the tools and gadgets I use in my daily productivity. This isn’t all of them – just a few I really recommend.

Let me say this loud and clear – A Techie I am NOT! So here’s to this information being helpful in your business!

	I am a MAC Girl. In my opinion, there’s nothing better for Graphics Software like Adobe CS4. …not to mention, I have never had a virus! However, all to often I need to utilize PC Software. So, I also run Parallel’s. I can: Share files between Mac and Windows Use Windows apps like Mac apps Connect your favorite USB devices It’s not too expensive either, priced about the $79 range. Genbook – Free Online Appointment Scheduling	GenBook has been very valuable in the day to day operation of my business. It affords the ability for clients to easily see my daily availability and schedule an appointment 24/7 – at their convenience. So how do I think this could benefit a brick and mortar? Beauty Shops, Automotive Repair, Plumbing – basically any service business could benefit from the features and process made available from GenBook.
Hootsuite – The Professional Twitter Client	With the rise of Social Media, it’s important that we utilize tools for time saving and results generating. HootSuite is just that tool for me. Google Alerts	Google Alerts are email updates of the latest relevant Google results (web, news, etc.) based on your choice or topic. Some handy uses of Google Alerts include: monitoring a developing news story keeping current on a competitor or industry getting the latest on a specific industry and more!
Skype	What a handy and helpful tool for any business! Although Skype can be utilized as a complete phone solution, I use it primarily for video conferencing and interviews.
